I received my card in the mail over the weekend. This may not mean much to you, but for me it's certainly a huge accomplishment considering I wasn't even going to complete my Open Water course almost a year ago.
Yay me!!
Now...where do I go from here?

WTG Vanessa!!!! I DO think it's a big deal. I tried a dive in Playa last winter and totally choked. I had a massive panic attack and couldn't even put my face mask in the water after the first time going under. I was floored, usually nothing scares me, and I had been free diving for years. I guess the addition of all the equipment was too much for me. I'm proud of you!!!
Thanks Jan!! Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience!! I'll admit that the heavy equipment can take a bit to get used to. But once your underwater, the weightlessness takes over and it's almost like nirvana. Maybe someday you'll give it another try.
