D.I.Y Waxing

I am going on record to state that I do not recommend Home Waxing Kits. There was blood, lots of pain, and there will be scabbing. I do not know when or if I'll be able to get into the Ocean on this trip. Ow!! Ow!! Ow!!

From now on, I'm leaving this up to the professionals!!

Sorry, no pics on this one!

(Go ahead and have your giggle, Heather. It's payback! :) )

This is SO something that would happen to me, I can't even laugh at you.

I would put that shit on and then not have the courage to rip it off, so I'd have to just live with the wax and the paper on me.

Yee-ouch, lady.

oh that sounds awful... blood and scabbing? yeesh, I won't laugh... I've never tried and I've never gone to a professional, cuz the only people I trust are ones that I actually KNOW and then they'd know all there was to know about me... you know... down there everywhere... and then I'd have to never speak to them again... and then what?

Fortunately, I did heal up okay after about 4 days. No scabbing, thank gawd!! But, I learned my lesson and will never.ever.do.it.again!!!!

Honey! I hate that you were brutally injured by the wax. Now your description of the aftermath did have me chuckle a bit...not too much though. I have self waxed many times and have never had any injuries. Hope you have healed well!

Hey Vanessa!
I do the home waxing once a month. I went and bought all the pro stuff at a beauty supply store. Gregg does my legs for me and my armpits.LOL I do the bikini line, I can do my legs but its faster if you have help. Once you get the hang of it, it only takes about 2 hours from start to finish.
I think it might be a better idea for you to try the wax strips. They are very easy and no mess.
